Construction of Phuntsholing–Chamkuna Road (Ch. Km 0+000 to Km 3+359) (2019-2020)
The project involves the construction of the Phuntsholing–Chamkuna road section, starting from chainage Km 0+000 to Km 3+359, with a total stretch of 3.359 kilometers.
Scope of Work:

Road Formation & Earthwork: Excavation, cutting, and filling to achieve proper road profile and gradient.

Pavement Works: Laying of granular sub-base, base course, and bituminous surfacing to ensure durability and smooth vehicular movement.

Drainage System: Construction of side drains, cross-drainage structures, and culverts for effective stormwater management.

Retaining & Protection Structures: Building retaining walls, breast walls, and slope protection works in vulnerable stretches.

Road Furniture & Safety: Installation of signages, markings, guardrails, and other safety features for secure travel.

Improve connectivity between Phuntsholing and Chamkuna.
