Construction of Kalikhola/ Fenchikhola- Kamigaon Irrigation Scheme in Norgaygang Gewog under Samtse Dzongkhag.
It was inaugurated on 19 June 2016 by Dasho Nim Dorji, Director General, Department of Agriculture (DoA). The 9.8 km long irrigation scheme (piped) will benefit 150 households of Halhaley, Beteni, Gondaygaon, Lepcha gaon, Beachgaon, Mukhunigaon and Kamigaon villages. The scheme will irrigate over 200 acres of paddy-land and is expected to enhance local crop production. The project was financed by the Government of India through the Project-Tied Assistance (PTA) program. Nu. 35.84 million was spent on the construction of 9.8 km long pipe irrigation channel and was completed in 10 months.
